The Sigyn field is in production license 072. The field contains gas, condensate and light oil. Production on the field began in 2002.

Sigyn has been developed using a subsea well template. The well stream is transported to the Sleipner A facility 12km northwest of the well template. The field is 222km west of Stavanger and the water depth in the area in 70m.

The Sigyn Øst and Vest structures are produced by one and two wells respectively, all drilled from the same subsea template.

Wellstreams are carried by two pipelines to Statoil’s Sleipner A platform, which also controls production remotely. Esso is responsible for reservoir management. The gas is exported via the dry gas system from Sleipner Riser, while the condensate is exported through the dedicated pipeline to Kårstø north of Stavanger.

ExxonMobil E&P Norway is the operator of Sigyn with 40% stake. Statoil holds the remaining 60%.
