Seatronics appoints new group managing director

Seatronics appointed Phil Middleton as its new group managing director. Middleton will be responsible for managing and developing Seatronics’ global business with a particular focus on long-term growth, strategy and compliance.

Middleton says, “I am looking forward to working closely with senior management to continually develop and improve the people, processes, equipment and facilities under our global business. My goal is to cultivate and implement business plans that will maximize stability and long-term growth for Seatronics worldwide.”

Middleton has worked with Seatronics for 12 years. He holds an honors degree in electronic and electrical engineering from Robert Gordon University, and began his career with Scientific Drilling Controls before expanding into survey industry roles. He joined Seatronics in 2003 as an internal sales engineer, progressing through the ranks to deputy managing director. With 21 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and 19 years in the rental market, Middleton has significant expertise in engineering, operations, commercial and business development.
