WCS offers IADC WellCAP course

Published

Well Control School (WCS) announced the release of its supervisor-level IADC WellCAP accredited coiled tubing course through its e-learning program, System 21 e-Learning. This course uses advanced instruction and workshops on pressure control methodologies in coiled tubing operations.

The course, designed for experienced, coiled tubing supervisors, operators and assistant operators, uses instruction and workshops to train students based on the latest methodology and industry standards for well intervention in coiled tubing operations.

“As many oil and gas companies seek to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs, this course provides a cost-effective way to obtain critical training,” says Ed Geissler, president of Well Control School. “A key benefit of this course is that it’s web-based and available 24/7, so students can take the class at their convenience without incurring the travel time and expenses associated with attending classroom training.”

According to Geissler, participants who successfully complete and pass the course will receive “The Well Control School and IADC WellCA® Coiled Tubing Supervisor Level” certifications along with 3.7 continuing education units.
