Graspan Frankton is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and offers maritime security courses and services. The company takes its name from Royal Marines history: the Battle of Graspan in South Africa (1899) and Operation Frankton in France (1942).

GES emphasized plans to expand its operations in Africa. The company is offering US$100 million in preferred stock and senior notes to finance the acquisition of Graspan Frankton, Quemic's Ghana and Mozambique security operations, and purchase Bell twin engine 412 utility helicopters.

GES is an authorized vendor for the US Department of State, United Nations, USAID, and other global governmental agencies.
