Hunting appoints Norway regional manager

Ørjan Frøyland joins Hunting Energy Services as the new regional manager for Norway as it targets a period of strategic growth within the Scandinavian oil and gas market.

Frøyland will be responsible for overseeing the establishment of the Hunting brand within the region, with a particular focus on the growing Norwegian and Danish markets.

Frøyland brings nearly 20 years of experience to the position, having previously worked within some of the world’s leading energy sector firms.

Initially based in Sandnes, Frøyland will develop the use of Hunting’s range of well construction, well completion and well intervention products as the firm looks to expand its reputation forged through successful periods of operating within the North Sea, USA and Asia Pacific markets.

“Hunting already has a successful track record in Norway, with our specialist equipment being used by a number of operators within the region and the establishment of a full time presence within the country will give us the platform upon which we can react nimbly to market demands as we consolidate our worldwide offering to existing and prospective clients,” says Bruce Ferguson, Hunting’s managing director.
