FMC appoints new VP/CFO

FMC Technologies announced that Maryann T. Seaman (pictured) has been appointed executive vice president effective 1 Mar 2014.

Seaman, who is the company's chief financial officer, has been with FMC Technologies for 28 years and has held a variety of financial, administrative and operational positions.

"Maryann has been instrumental in the success of FMC Technologies and we are pleased to recognize her contributions," John T. Gremp, Chairman, president and CEO, FMC Technologies said. "Her strategic outlook and financial expertise will continue to serve us well as we grow and increase shareholder value."

In 2005, Ms. Seaman became responsible for corporate communications in addition to holding the position of director of investor relations and corporate development, which she held since 2003. Previously, she served as group controller of FoodTech since 2000, as well as, division controller of the Airport Systems Division in 1996. In 1993, she became the finance and operations manager for the North American Division of the agricultural products group of FMC Corp in Philadelphia. Prior to this, she was the facilities administration manager for the agricultural products group's research and development center.

Before joining FMC Corporation in 1986, Seaman served as finance manager for Sheller-Globe Corp.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an MBA from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Seaman also serves on the board of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
