Typhoon Offshore to charter Normand Oceanic

Solstad Offshore signed a three-year charter deal with Mexico’s Typhoon Offshore for the Normand Oceanic construction support vessel (CSV) to operate in Mexico’s waters.

Typhoon Offshore will charter the Normand Oceanic CSV beginning in May 2017 for the company’s projects.

The deal was signed by Solstad, on behalf of the partly owned company Normand Oceanic, a joint venture company owned by Solstad Offshore and Subsea 7. Typhoon Offshore is an affiliate of Grupo Salinas.
