NUTECH, WellDatabase introduce NuQuest

NUTECH has partnered with WellDatabase to launch NuQuest, the industry’s first comprehensive and intuitive digital platform providing standard well data coupled with corresponding reservoir characterization, and engineering expertise.

The project identifies key reservoir parameters impacting production and unlocks further production opportunities in similar areas.

Launching in Q1 2016, NuQuest provides a quick and affordable way to access hundreds of thousands of pieces of well analysis performed in every new and major conventional and unconventional play throughout the US, Canada, and other key regions of the world.

NuQuest, a part of NUTECH’s reservoir intelligence (RI) analysis process, will provide subscribers not only with a comprehensive look into regions’ historical well data, but will also link this data to its proprietary reservoir engineering and geological data allowing for faster, better, more informed decisions for future development opportunities.

“Our alliance with WellDatabase has extended NUTECH’s bandwidth to another level,” said Allen Howard, president and CEO, NUTECH. “As a company, our mission is to provide reservoir intelligence to our customers in order to maximize value and minimize risk at every turn. By joining forces with WellDatabase and launching NuQuest, we are providing our customers with the most inclusive service on the market, generating insights that create value otherwise previously unavailable.”

“Partnering with NUTECH, the leader in petrophysical analysis and reservoir intelligence, adds dimension to our service that our competitors do not have,” said John Ferrell, founder and CEO of WellDatabase. “There are multiple offerings of well data services within the industry, but none that provide the opportunities for forecasting and comparatives as well as forward thinking, efficient planning.  NuQuest is the service that will undoubtedly provide the most insight across the board.”
