Apache extends Archer contract

Apache has exercised the first of two options to extend its existing contract with Archer for the provision of platform drilling services for one year.

"We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract extension.  It is excellent news for Archer and illustrates the hard work and commitment which our personnel put into delivering a safe environment for all those engaged on the Apache assets whilst ensuring support in delivering Apache’s high level of operational efficiency,” said Kenny Dey, Managing Director of Archer in the U.K.  “We look forward to continuing our working relationship with Apache through the duration of the contract.”

Archer, a leading provider of Platform Drilling services, currently operates a total of 33 platforms in the North Sea, Greece and Brazil, including Platform Drilling O&M services on the Forties Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta platforms along with the Beryl Alpha and Bravo installations.
