Solstad Farstad Renamed Solstad Offshore

Solstad Farstad has changed its name to Solstad Offshore ASA. The name change of the company, jointly formed by Solstad Offshore, Farstad Shipping and Deep Sea Supply last year, was announced through Twitter.

The  integrated shipping company with high specification vessels in its market segment, using owned or chartered vessels will be listed on Oslo Stock Exchange with the new name Solstad Offshore ASA from today (October 3rd, 2018).

A press note from the company said that its ISIN number, instrument ID and ticker code remain unchanged.

"Solstad Offshore has more than 50 years of experience within various shipping segments, and is currently the leading provider of specialized offshore tonnage to the international oil and gas industry," said a company statement.

Solstad owns and operates a fleet of 147 vessels, of which 33 construction support vessels. The company also has 5 vessels under construction within the aquaculture segment.
